And finally we arrived to Rho Fiera, went through turnstiles…walked a rather long way and…Voilà! The first pavilion:
Inside it you find yourself lost in nature and evolution …agriculture, animals…but also traditions and waste of food. A kind of journey from the past until today.
Above a plastic of my beautiful Chicago (I dream about it every day!!!) that shows the windy city as a financial centre in the first half of 1900.
In a day it’s pretty impossible to visit every pavilion…it’s for that reason that in this page you can find just a resume about Expo!
I liked very much the Brazilian pavilion, it was so funny to walk on that mesh to get inside it;
At ground floor I could taste the typical Brazilian coffee (for me it’s a long coffee) and some cheese balls that (for what I understood) are a kind of typical bread! very good 😉 and very kind and funny people:
Of course one of my first thought was looking for the Italian pavilion and here it is:
The day I went there, there was the visit of Matteo Renzi (President of the Council of Ministers of Italy) and Vladimir Putin (Russian President) … so you can imagine how many people were there for the event!
Anyway I was fascinated by the pavilion architecture even if building it was so expensive!
Mmm…an original Italian pizza please!
The famous Italian car, Fiat 500… and behind it a curious pavilion. Inside it I saw a sort of virtual animal that you could bring to watch a short film!
Walking around the Expo:
So much walk made us hungry… sooo we stopped at Let’s toast:
After a good lunch it cannot miss a good glass of wine… so voilà a pavilion dedicated to wine:
Yet another one: USA pavilion… USA, my dream ever
And to finish Calabria’s designated position, and the Sicilian one…with some good agriculture products and beautiful local crafts:
So I think that aside from polemics, Expo is a wonderful experience and I recommend everybody to go to visit it!
